We received our Christmas cards last week from Minted and I am so happy with how they turned out. I had a hard time deciding between all the favourites I picked out (here). I actually went through and virtually designed every single card before narrowing it down with Evans help.
We ended up picking the Collage Shimmer Script card. We both loved how we were able to showcase a few of our favourite family photos yet the card was still simple and not over done. I opted for the gold foil on the white background as the gold went with the colour scheme of our outfits best.
The basic card design is a flat card with a blank backing for you to handwrite a personal message. I upgraded our cards to a fold over design and included a printed personal note and photo on the inside. We based our cards around our move to Chilliwack so we included our new address inside as well as taking our photos at a nearby lake. I took advantage of the free recipient addressing and because I used it last year all of my addresses were already uploaded. I just had to remove a few, update a few and add a few new ones. I also upgraded our order to include our return address on the back of each envelope to save me the time of writing it over and over again.
Now we just need to go take our Santa pictures so we can pop these in the mail. I love the fact that its not even December and I have my Christmas cards all ready to go. One less thing to worry about before our next move!
Ps Minted has lots of great promotions going on right now. So if you have yet to order your Christmas cards now is the time to do so! I think I am going to order a few photo art gifts for Christmas, they are the best for grandparents!
