A MINTED Christmas {Review}

With Christmas fast approaching and seeing photos of homes with decorations already up, I actually feel ahead of the game this year. Don’t get me wrong, my Christmas decorations won’t be making an appearance until December 1st, but with a newborn and a toddler at home I would think it would be quite the opposite. This year thanks to Minted I am actually staring at my Christmas cards as I type this! And I don’t mean a pack of cards I picked up on clearance at the end of the season last year, but high quality cards with a family {of 4} picture on them!

What is Minted you ask? Minted is a design marketplace of independent artists from around the globe. They have a great selection of holiday cards, featuring the latest trends, photo card, and for a limited time, matching envelopes with recipient printing is free! This was huge bonus for this new mama of two!

Not only are they known for keeping up with trends, such as foil pressed cards and the ever popular rose gold, they use high quality paper. You can choose from a wide variety that includes 100% recycled, pearlescent, double thick and even triple thick!

I was able to upload a family photo and customize our Christmas card with in minutes. When I say customize I mean, I was able to edit the font, text colour, shape of the card, and many more great features in less than 20 minutes! The design possibilities are endless, even if you and I choose the same design our cards will never be the same! The hardest part about the whole process was choosing a design, as there are so many AMAZING designs to choose from.

“We believe that great design lives and thrives in the hands of independent artists that people do not have access to through traditional retailers. Minted uses technology to allow consumers to discover great creative talent, making Minted a place where artists can learn, gain exposure, and build their businesses. Minted is a design marketplace. We source creative content from a global community of independent artists, then sell the best content in the form of art, home décor, and stationery, directly to consumers. An early pioneer of crowdsourcing, Minted has held art and design challenges monthly since April 2008. Challenges are open for both submission and voting, the ‘crowd’ curates Minted’s product selection by rating products, and Minted utilizes analytics to evaluate votes. ”

Now if you just happen to be on our mailing list, close your eyes or these won’t be a surprise when they show up at your door 😉
