Budget Friendly Spring Finds for the Stylish Mama

I feel like it has been forever since I have shared a round up of some of my favourite wardrobe finds. Partially because it has also been forever since I gave my wardrobe a bit of an update. A lot of my spring and summer clothes that I have were purchased when I was only a few weeks post partum with Hazel. Which makes items like my shorts over 4 years old and my body has done ALOT of changing in that time, from recovering from one birth to another pregnancy and recovering from a second birth. This being said it was time to find some budget friendly spring finds for the stylish mama.

So with our upcoming vacation later this month and spring slowly blooming I did some much needed retail therapy damage. While I needed to keep my shopping budget friendly I did splurge on a couple items for the summer like this dress from Anthropology. It’s my first ever purchase from Anthropology and probably my key piece for the summer. I am just dying to break it out and unless the sun makes an appearance soon it will be saved for Maui. Aside from the dress the rest of my finds are from Old Navy, America Eagle, Target and Forever 21. All easily accessible, (online and in store), as well as at an affordable price point. Here is what will be on heavy rotation in my closet for spring.

While shopping I noticed some of the trends and spring seems to be picking up on lots of girly aspects, which I love! Think lots of ruffles, lace or crochet accents, off the shoulder or one shoulder shirts. Light colours of creams and blushes and the ever popular navy seems to be the new black. Distressed denim is still very popular and some of the rises are trending up. I picked up some “festival shorts” that have a higher waist and aren’t skin tight on the thighs!
