Getting Fall Weather Ready with #CartersOshKosh #Kidsentials

Today’s blustery weather has certainly confirmed one thing in our house, fall is here. Our summer tans have long since faded and our flip-flops are all packed away and we’ve since dusted off the rain boots and pulled out our warmer layers. As I pull out the kids warmer clothes one thing is very apparent, it’s time for a brand new wardrobe and I’m sure I’m not alone when I say my kids are growing a mile a minute. As much as I would love for them to wear what they wore last fall, they’ve outgrown 90% of it and in most cases it still has plenty of wear left in it! Now that we are a month into the school year, and the temperatures are starting to change it is time to think of fall clothes!

With a girl and a boy in our house very little clothing is passed on from one child to another, meaning we get even less wear out of our clothing than those with two kids of the same gender. In saying this I need to be very smart about my purchases, making sure I get the most for my money, stretching my dollar to make sure both kids are appropriately dressed each season. Our fall purchases tend to be a bigger deal as they need to get us through to the spring, making up eight out of the twelve months. My go-to place to stock up on all the essentials for the kids, season after season, is Carter’s | OshKosh. Whether I am looking for swimsuits and flip flops, or sweatshirts and cozy pjs, I always know I can find exactly what I am looking for, for both kids in one stop.

We had a chance to pop by our local Carter’s | OshKosh the other week to check out what they have for fall and they definitely had some great stuff. As Everett was a newborn last fall, he has absolutely nothing that still fits him, so stocking up on fall essentials for him is a must. I was able to pick up a few things to get us going as the evenings start to cool down. I purchased some long sleeved white onesies which are perfect for layering under all of his t-shirts from the summer and a warm fleece hoody to throw over top. For Hazel, I grabbed a new pack of undies, as I feel like I’m washing her undergarments every other day. Lastly, I couldn’t resist the Halloween pjs with the skeleton on them. I had my eyes on these last year but Everett was much too small for them so they were a must this year. I picked up a pair for both kids. Everett’s are black with little cobwebs in the skeleton and Hazel’s are purple with candies in the belly. She was so excited for her new pjs and was even more excited that they matched his. The best part is that they glow in the dark and I can’t wait for her to discover this.
