Let it Go, Let it Go

So I know we are a tad late to the Frozen game but needless to say we love it! Hazel has recently taken a dive head first into the whole princess world so there was no way of avoiding Frozen anymore. Saturday night we put our pjs on, piled onto the couch (I know, such a wild night) and watched it as a family.

It’s crazy to think that I might have actually taken something away from a Disney movie, but I did!

Let it Go.

Going forward I am going to do my best to not let things get me down. I am going to do what ever it takes to ignore the negative events that surround me and just Let them Go.

The laundry that’s piled to the ceiling – Let it Go (Can you tell laundry is my nemesis?)

The spaghetti on the floor – Let it Go (we have a dog right?)

The hijacked posts – Let it Go (You can have it.)

Having macaroni for dinner night after night – Let it Go ( no dinner time battles)

Not getting to th gym yet – Let it Go (I feel like I am the gym most days, with the monkeys that climb on me)

The feeling of rejection – Let it Go (There are other doors to open.)

The spit up in my hair – Let it Go (It’s chemical free, there are worse things I could put in it right?)

Going forward I’m not going to sweat the small stuff. Let’s face it I’ve got bigger fish try like a toddler that doesn’t listen and a baby that won’t nap.

My daughter is obsessed with this movie.. and its been well over a year! But I know this is a short phase overall so I let her princess all she wants. 😉 (& yes.. let it go is a very good message for us busy mamas!)

Ahhhh yes frozen! My daughter just wasn’t into Disney movies when frozen came out! She was almost two so totally understandable. Now that she’s going to be four in a few weeks, now she loves everything! Frozen. Sophia and minions everything! I feel like I’m living a few years behind because of it lol… But Haylie’s happy so that’s all that matters.
