We had some gorgeous weather this past long weekend, so we decided to take full advantage of it and spend some time as a family in the sun. On Saturday morning we loaded the kids into the car and headed to the beach. This was the perfect opportunity for me to put my new Albion Fit swim suit to the test. While no swimming was done, I am still grateful I had my swim suit on as things definitely got messy on the beach while chasing after the kids.
When browsing through the options of suits on Albion Fit I was very quickly drawn to the one pieces. I wanted to try something a bit different than I would normally wear and also a suit that would allow for a bit more freedom with the kids. I usually wear a two piece and often find myself adjusting the bottoms or pulling at the top.
With two little ones on the beach this summer I need to make sure my hands are free for them. Whether they are used to minimize the amount of sand we are consuming or picking up sea shells, I can’t have my hands tied up adjusting my suit all the time.
In the end it came down to two suits, the ultimate winner, The Cabana suit and the runner up, The Weekender. I loved the idea of the contouring panels on the front of The Weekender and the detailing of the criss cross back. For The Cabana Suit the playfulness of the mixed prints and the double bows on the back were details I loved. I also love how it has a cut out in the front and the low back. It gives you the feeling that you are still wearing a two piece but with the comfort of a one piece. The deciding factor was the neckline on the Cabana Suit. Because it is a strapless, it allows for me to quickly remove the neck strap and pop down a side for those times that I need to nurse Everett while on the go. As silly as it may seem that, that was the deciding factor (it’s actually a huge deciding factor for all my clothing purchases these days) but when a babies gotta eat, a babies gotta eat. It also means that when I am done nursing I know my next suit will be The Weekender, perhaps a little treat for next summer!
What’s even better is that our friends over at Albion Fit have graciously given us a $50 store credit to give to one of you guys! How amazing is that?
