Every year we make sure we spend at least one afternoon gorging on fair food and checking out the attractions at the PNE. Usually we are your typical fair goers and our visit is on either the Sunday or Monday of the closing weekend. You can see last years visit here, a very pregnant me noshing on mini donuts on my due date. This year we managed to sneak in our visit mid week, the only downside was the weather wasn’t looking like it was in our favour. Days leading up to our visit I kept checking the weather app on my phone repeatedly and it kept saying the same thing, at 11 am there would be a 70% chance of showers. Ha! How accurate is the weather, ever? No word of a lie though we arrived right at 11 am and the moment we stepped foot through the gates it started to pour, go figure right? Well we beelined it to farm country and then to the Super Dogs, by the time we had finished with both of those the rain had stopped and it was time to enjoy the rides. I was super excited to go on the rides with Hazel as I couldn’t take part last year, but there was only one thing holding us up from the rides and that was the need to get our face painted. Yes, as usual the pink tiger was out in full force, once we had our game face on it was time to enjoy the rides!
