After spending 3 out of the 5 rainy days last week walking through trails in local parks, I knew we couldn’t stay inside yesterday when we had a glorious sunny day. I didn’t want to head back to the trails as we have more than enough pinecones at home, so I had to think of something else Hazel could collect. After lunch I checked the tide schedule for our local beach, White Rock, realizing that low tide was an hour ago I threw the kids in the car and we were out the door asap. Upon our arrival the tide wasn’t fully in but it was definitely drawing nearer. Thankfully we had enough rocky shore for Hazel to run and collect as many shells as her heart desired. Now to figure out what to do with the bucket of shells sitting in my car, lol!
