The Ultimate Bath with Urban Grain Co {Review & Giveaway}

URBAN9

As a stay at home mom of two there is one thing I look forward to most days and thats bed time. Don’t get me wrong I love my kids, I love spending time with them and watching them grow, but sometimes this mom just needs some time to herself. When it comes to some me time my go to is a nice hot bath. I lock the door, turn out the lights, light a candle or five, pour myself a big glass of vino and hop into the tub! For the longest time my baths would be accompanied by a book or a magazine, until Urban Grain Co came into my life.

Enter in the Bath Caddy. Urban Grain Co’s Bath Caddy is a game changer when it comes to relaxing in the tub. I now have a place to put my wine glass with no worries of my elbow bumping it off the edge. I can bring in my laptop or iPad and watch some Netflix, bring in a notebook and write out my thoughts or personal favourite, my colouring books and colour without fighting off Hazel.

Am I giving you bath envy yet? While bath caddies are definitely not a new thing, most caddies you find in the store aren’t big enough to place more than a candle or beverage on them. Not only that most are a one size fits all, which as we know doesn’t work for anything. Urban Grain Co’s caddies are reasonably priced at $45 per caddy and are all custom made to order, using your tubs measurements so it’s guaranteed to fit the width of your tub. They also offer their caddies in a variety of  different stains, my personal favourite is the Burnt Espresso.

    Lately I haven’t had much relax time. I try to get the odd bath in there but when the kids go to bed its time to work. My down time is often spent in bed just lounging (whenever possible)

    What a perfect bath scene. My end of day unwind included a cup of hot peppermint tea and a few biscuits (& if I’m being perfectly honest – lately – binge watching Parenthood on the iPad in bed)

    At the end of the day I LOVE to read my Bible and couple devotions with my husband. I have some serious insomnia so I’ve had to perfect a bedtime relaxation routine. About once a week (because water bills) I take a bath in my soaker tub! It was a MUST in our recent house hunt. I would LOVE to be able to do something besides just lay quietly in my bath – although that is super relaxing it does get boring.

    I usually unwind with part of a Netflix episode (sometimes while taking a bath). I’m sure once our first baby comes along in July unwinding will take on a whole new meaning.

    I wish I could say I unwind with a bath every night, but in reality I lay in bed and search the entire internet and catch up on social media. I think I might be forced to enjoy more baths with a glass of wine and a book or Netflix if I had a beautiful caddy like this.
